Lighting Retrofit

Modern Tech has become one of the industry leaders in the field of lighting retrofit. We have access to state-of-the-art lighting systems, which not only help maintain proper light levels, but also lower electrical usage. We can survey, design, and install these systems based upon our customer's requirements. We have designed surveys for performance contracts, where the savings in electricity helps to pay for the project itself. Modern Tech is capable of any size installation, from manufacturing facilities to entire school systems.

Here are a few of our major projects:

NY State Donovan Building

·Performed a Lighting Retrofit at the NY State Donovan Building in Buffalo, N.Y. Over 5,000 fixtures were retrofitted.

Contracted by the New York Power Authority.

Eden Central Schools

·Currently, we performing a Lighting Retrofit, Energy Management, and HVAC improvements at the Eden Central School District.

Contracted by Siemen's.

Erie County Rath Building

·Performed a Lighting Retrofit at the Erie County Rath Building in Buffalo, N.Y. Over 13,000 fixtures were retrofitted.

Contracted by the New York Power Authority.

Niagara Falls Power Authority

·Performed a Lighting Retrofit and Energy Management work at the Robert Moses and Lewiston Power Generator Plants in Niagara Falls, New York. This work included re-lighting the Lewiston Dam, which can be seen along the Niagara Gorge.

Contracted by the New York Power Authority.

State University at Buffalo Amherst Campus

·Retrofit of fifteen buildings (over 15,000 fixtures) at the University at Buffalo North Campus. Also installed temperature control system in over 60% of the university, and a Fire Alarm system in Ellicott Dorm Complex.

Multiple contracts including CES/Way International, and U&S Services.

Buffalo School District

·Performed a Lighting Retrofit on eight Buffalo Public Schools. Close to 10,000 fixtures were retrofitted.

Contracted by HEC and the New York Power Authority.
